ABOUT ABOUT

Struggling with how to discipline your limit-testing preschooler? Yearning to decrease power struggles and for more harmony in the family? Maintain your marriage amidst the chaos of child-rearing? Pass down cherished family traditions and values? Following our popular first workshop with fabulous peaceful parenting coach Kelly Burkett, I’m organizing two more!

Thanks to your feedback, we’ll be focusing on Disciplinary Techniques for Toddler & Elementary School Aged Children on Tuesday, May 14th, from 6:30-8:30pm (location TBC), where Kelly will offer tools to effectively respond to misbehavior, meltdowns, and tantrums, helping us feel less frustrated, and more connected and patient; and a DADS ONLY Introduction to Peaceful Parenting on Saturday, June 1st, from 12:00-2:30pm (113th & ACP). Hope you will join for one of these intimate opportunities to connect with other parents and gain much-needed wisdom.

More about Kelly Burkett: Kelly is a certified therapist and peaceful parenting coach, trained by Dr. Laura Markham, author of Peaceful Parent, Happy Kids and founder of Aha Parenting.  Kelly offers individual coaching and leads parenting workshops to help parents navigate the many challenges of raising children, including meltdowns, tantrums, sibling rivalry, and defiance. She is also a mom to three young children. For more, go to: http://kellyburkett.com/.

Ideal for parents with toddlers and elementary school age children. $30 a person thanks to generous subsidies from PJ Library. Space is limited! Spouses / partners join for free.
